Have been missing this wonderful daily community .. and is a great way to improve your photography and view majorly artful works of others in this amazing community. I currently shoot with Canon 1d mkii N and bought a 20d for a back up camera which then Clayton soon claimed. :-) At 5 he is becoming quite the photographer. So I found a 5d on Ebay that is beginning to be a favorite. I have one L lens that is a favorite! but is heavy to carry in the forest but I tend to do it anyway, figure I could use the exercise anyway. CANON 70-200mm 2.8 L, CANON 100mm 2.8 macro, SAMYANG PRIME 85mm 1.4, that I got from a friend in Denmark, I don't believe they sell them in the U.S. yet.CANON 50mm PRIME 1.4, and 3 ZUKIO lenses that I use on my Canon with an adapter,ZUIKO PRIME 24mm 2.8, ZUIKO PRIME 35mm 2.8, ZUIKO PRIME 135mm 2.8.

Would love to break into the Wedding Photography area it is my favorite type of professional photography. So far I have done four and love every min. of it.

The Coralroot are blooming.... I found this beautiful Coralroot in the Federation Forest. Such delicate and very small blooms.

It takes a certain fungus in order for the Coralroot to get started. Then it attaches to certain tree roots and the three of them work in a symbiotic relationship. The Coralroot clean away debris from the tree roots and in turn the tree gives the Coralroot nutrition.

I was hoping it was going to be a nice day today so Renee and I and the kids could go to the forest but the sky is looking a little dark at the moment. Hopefully it will clear up a bit. I am sure Clayton would love to show his mom the treasures we have found.

Have a great Monday,

Orange Honeysuckle, just another flower found in the Federeation Forest. Actually I found this one right near where I parked my car. So bright and delicate.

The Coralroot are blossoming now, I'll post another one tomorrow. I started early enough this year to see all the stages in these beautiful plants.

Have a great weekend....... connie
Clay as he wanders back to the car from one of our hikes in the Federation Forest. You can see how he just swings his camera all over the place. So far he has never hit anything... lile trees, grandma etc. lol

So I just don't usually watch, otherwise I might be yelling. Well, that's what I did to my kids but grandkids are special and I think grandma is wiser.

Have a wonderful day. ♥connie
Scary Pony, Yesterday I thought I'd climb the neighbor's fence and try to capture his pretty gelding we call "Friend". Clayton has called him that since he was 1st able to speek a few words. He use to cry out in the truck when he would see him in the field "Friend, Friend, you are back".

This is not Friend but it seems a pony he must be rescuing. Friend is in the BG.... lol

Our neighbor owns the Enumclaw Sales Pavilion, where they sell cows every Sat, Wed. and Horses once a month, the 1st Sunday of the month. He is also the auctioneer.

Have a great weekend....... we may get much needed sunshine. :-D connie
Spotted Coralroot2
Lady Fern

It rained most of the day but around 4:00 I decieded to run up to the forest. Amazing what a few rain drops can do. ;-)
